I'm so glad you're here to prove my point over and over. There was no such "farting at a hurricane", and you're a lot more obsessed with farts than the South Park folks.
I never claimed those two were conservative, so your "criticism" has nothing to do with me. Your inability to understand what I meant by "non-conservative" in the context I placed it in shows you're precisely the kind of uninformed "critic" I was writing about, so thanks for the continued responses.
Has Southpark parodied Mohammed yet?
I doubt they ever will.
I have been emailing with him too.
Jim is getting private requests for reinstatement.
We will see if this obvious mistake will be rectfied.
Yes, they have.
Which side was he on?
Oh, and while you're at it, bring back SeaLion and Modernman too
Super Best Friends episode
Unusually self aware satire.
Weak. Hayes was fine when they blasted all the other religious/socio-political groups. But when they went after Scientology, he just couldn't handle it. Pathetic. If you are so afraid of having your views examined or parodied, maybe you should examine your views a little more closely.
Why did Evening Star get bumped?
I did find this story: http://news.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2006/02/05/nflag305.xml
I didn't see any of the above referenced episodes...so I can't really comment.
I have seen them...I have watched all of htem....at least twice. hehehehe
"Chef Goes Nanners, the character of the chef, voiced by Isaac Hayes, changes his name to Abdul Mohammed Jabar-Rouf Kareem Ali and adopts the Muslim faith.
The show also ran an episode entitled Osama Bin Laden Has Farty Pants in November 2001."
SP is an equal opportunity offender.
They had a cartoon Muhammed several years ago on the show, before it was some kind of "gutsy" litmus test for you people.
Course, he wasn't really a bad guy... he was one of the "Super Best Friends" a take off on the Super Friends show that was on when I was a kid. But I'd still doubt your instincts from here on out if I were you. (lgf: YMUK Seethes About Cartoon):~D
They have, and I don't doubt they will again.
Jesus: Alright, Stanley. You can open your eyes now. [before them is a stone-and-glass building] This is the hall of the super best friends, Stanley, the headquarters for those who stand for what's right.
Mohammed: Jesus, we've been working hard since we got your distress call!
Loa Tse: Who the kid?
Jesus: Stanley, I want you to meet some of the super best friends [they are shown when mentioned]: Buddha, with the powers of invisibility; Mohammed, the Muslim prophet with the powers of flame [he raises his hands palm up and a blast of flame emerges from each hand]; Krishna, the Hindu deity; Jospeh Smith, the Mormom prophet; Lao Tse, the found of Taoism [performs some martial arts moves with his cane]; and Sea-Man, with the ability to breathe underwater and link mentally with fish.
Stan: So you mean to tell me that even though people fight and argue over different religions, you guys are all actually friends?
Mohammed: More than friends, young boy, we are super best friends, with the desire to fight for justice.
Joseph Smith: We all believe in the power of good over evil. Except for Buddha, of course, who doesn't believe in evil. [Buddha shrugs and grins]
Stan: Wow.
Mohammed: Jesus, come look at this. [they walk to the monitor console with Stan following] After your distress call, we entered David Blaine in the super best friends' computer.
Sea-Man: [operating the console] Many interesting things showed up. He was raised in New York city by a decent family, but a freak washing-machine accident at the age of 12 made him learn the ways of the black arts.
Buddha: That's right, Seaman. [the other super best friends laugh at how Lao Tse said Seaman's name]
Sea-Man: [insulted] Sea Man!
Buddha: Uh that's what I said. Sea Man. [the others laugh some more]
Sea-Man: Stop it!
As was the episode where they overused "curse" words causing a literal curse-demon to appear. A moral that self-censorship is good on an episode featuring a running count on the use of a certain curse word.
SD
poopyhead #11342 checking in.
They're so self-aware they'd think you were really lame for using a gay term like "self-aware" ;~D
