Through shadows to the edge of night

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,

Then world behind and home ahead,

BTW, I decided I'm going to go up for the visitation on Sunday afteroon. I should be able to spend more time with him than at the funeral on Monday. But I'm also going to be prepared to stay in the event that he asks.

I'm sort of o.k., it looks like the surgery will be in later April, because the doctor is backed up nearly a month -- I finally saw him in Tampa last week. While an ankle fusion operation is still a possibility, an amputation of my foot, with a prosthetic replacement seems to be more likely. It has less side effects and a faster recovery time. If you know anyone who has had this sort of problem I'd appreciate some advice. Using Freepmail would keep the gory details off of the forum.
If that musical keeps running, maybe we could have a moot and see it. I wonder how much of the plot they could keep, in only 3 hours, and losing time with songs and dancing!
