Hair do you know if the NAIS is going to go into effect soon, or is it just something waiting in the wings?

Gosh... I wish I knew. The USDA site speaks of it like it's a done deal. Implementing premises registration this year... all places where animals are kept must be registered... Implementing animal movement reporting by 2007-9.

There's been precious little debate about it, but this is HUGH.
