...it does not get dark until 10:00 and we got to see the Northern Lights one night.

Yeah, that would be cool, in the summertime, but I don't think I could handle the flip side in the winter when it gets dark at 4. I've always wanted to see the Northern Lights. Every once in a blue moon we might see a glimmer of them down this far south, but all it amounts to is a red or green glow on the horizon. I want to see the REALLY intense ones that look like flowing curtains sometime.

I will try to get pictures if we see them this year. It was pretty neat. I/ve never been that far north in the winter so don't know how early it gets dark.
