Could be we have learned to cut off all the new growth when moving them like that... Your's are not really ~behind~ ours if they aren't uncurled yet. Our new growth is still uncurling. There weren't any ready to take pictures of in the woods yesterday. Here's some that are right by the house that get pretty big... They still look rather puny now. Just took this picture:

If I remember to get batteries today I'll take a picture of it:)
