I am so sorry about your chicks. I lost my whole flock to coyotes one time and aside from I really liked all their individual personalities and quirks, I felt like I had failed them by not preventing it :( Sometimes taking every conceivable precaution still doesn't stop nature.

I'm waiting for Julia and thought I'd show you something.You can't see this in the pictures I posted yesterday of the land I mowed but it's about in the middle. I've always thought this was kind of neat, like a natural patio or something:)
