I've seen that before:)

I forgot about a picture I took today. I was telling Chris about that farrier forum, and the discussion about Natural Balance. I didn't know there was a special shoe design called natural balance. He showed me one, $15 a pair. Have you seen one?

I thought when they talked about natural balance it was a special way of trimming so the horse could go barefoot.

How odd. A lot of our horses that are barefoot wear the front of the toe off sort of square between trimmings.

Cyn's feet are very square like that too.

I've only seen the shoes on that forum... Is he using them on Harley or did he just show them to you?

Hey cool! Those are the kinda shoes I just had put on Bob. It seems like you're farrier knows more than he was letting on. I'll post you some pictures I took of them.

Natural Balance is a special way of trimming so that they can go barefoot, but it's also a special way of shoeing so that they are LIKE they are barefoot, only more protected. The whole point of it is to get the point of breakover back to where it would be if they didn't have shoes on.
