I saw a really pregnant woman at the casino craps table one night, wooping and jumping and cheering as she played... I offered her a seat! She said "No way! I'm a week overdue. I'm here to get things moving!"
Well, I dont' know if it really works, but it killed time for her. She's so use to being busy all the time, that I think the days are being kind of long for her, especially when Travis works. He's off tomorrow, so tonight would be a good time.

Hello everyone.I was wondering if anyone here has had any time on a Missouri Fox Trotter.I bought a yearling for my wife 3 years ago.he has turned out to be the best ride in the barn.He is also one of the most people friendly horses that I've ever seen.He was always that way.Don't get me wrong,I like our quarter horses-but there's just something about MrTwoTone. As soon as I figure out how to post a picture I'll get some up.
Sorry, I don't know a thing about anything but Quarters:). Frog rides gaited horses, but I don't think they are MFT's.
I pretty much think any horse raised with a very hands on owner is going to be a people horse. Sounds like you've done everything right:). Good job!
If you look at the who's who page, (like up by the thread title) there is instructions on posting pictures.

Actually, our vets say that our horses are more socialized than others they work with. One lady vet told us "I can't believe it,your horses are like dogs they are so friendly"
The bottom line is-they trust us and we trust them. Not one of them has ever bucked or tried to hurt us deliberately ever. And we have some pretty hot bloodlines in the barn. Two Gay Bar King mares, and a Hollywood Gold mare.
:') I have 2 day inservice in Austin in April.
A slow labor. Mine were like that. I was miserable the last two weeks. I walked around holding the baby up because it felt like he would fall out. When the contractions started I delievered fast though.
Oh, good, I'm glad to here that. I hope it goes fast for her.

With my luck, it is probably the 5th 6th and 7th when I am supposed to be outta town.
yep
Seriously, what days are you in town for and how much spare time will you have?
They should be so happy there :) I can't wait to see how they look when they start growing.
Me too:). Right there against the house, that spot only catches the morning sun.

Do you imprint your babies when they hit the ground? We do that with ours and they can and will handle just about anything.
I'm as impatient as Hair for pictures. I figure mine will take longer to pop up because it's still pretty cold here. Your's should come up first.
Well, I missed the 6th in the baby pool but it sure sounds like it will be soon. Praying for a easy delivery for her, and from the sounds of things, it will be.
I'm sure keeping my fingers crossed that we don't get anymore freezes now. They'd be pretty protected here by the house, but we have been known to have 2 foot of snow fall in March. We could certainly use it, but...:)
I just talked to Jenny, she is having contractions, and they seem stronger then the ones she was having last week....
