The FreeRepublic Saddle Club - Who's Who *pics*

This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.

I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!

I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will now be pinging everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.

So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

Night ladies - it's almost that time here too. (I'll probably have dreams about trans cans and oil drums now :))

Just a note, I have to work tomorrow but I'll be checking in as often as possible to hear the end of this.

Good Morning.

Wow, the Hair taped trash can mystery. How do the dogs act by the can? If Homer just lifts his leg, then it's probably nothing. :)

No more squeaky, squealing truck. Had rear brakes replaced. On a sad note, my algae eater died...he was over 5 years old and about 8 inches long.

She. Actually it was an exercise...

Oh, well then earings and pink are ok. For some reason I thought that was Okie instead of SL. Sounds like the exercises are working out pretty good.

Looks like a home-made composter to me.

Maybe your place was previously owned/occupied by a country inventor?

With a tiny little access hole? I don't think so... and it was empty.

If it was a body, it would stink to the blue blazes. Is it heavy or light?

Hey Winmag! I got my gadget yesterday and it's really cool. I thought I was going to have to beat my mother-in-law and my husband off of it. LOL! I guess we all like useless gadgets. Actually I've already used it. I used the little saw-blade thingie to open a jug of Roundup yesterday afternoon, but it's probably going to become a purse gadget. Thanks!

Doggy Dooley then.

It would eventually be empty. Is there any smell at all about it (chemical or organic or earthy?)

It would depend on how long it's been there wouldn't it.

There wasn't any smell about the barrel, and it was way out in the woods... it'd be a long ways to lug doggy dooley. :~D
