Look at all the doodads on that endurance saddle! I love it.
Those are both real pretty :~D
Heh. It doesn't go that good when we have an early spring. A couple years ago the apple trees all bloomed early before there were any bees to pollinate them - no apples :~]
The back cinch ring on the second one is interesting.
Those saddles should be easy to stay in properly the way the front is built up.
Are you going to have a horn on yours like the top one?
I'll bet they will be really well made being made. If the Amish there are anything like what I've seen on television they seem like they are good craftsmen in what they do.
Becky
Yeah, the first one I ordered will have a horn just like the picture. The pommel on the 2nd one won't be quite as high in the front as the one in the picture, and I like it better that way. Sometimes they can be too high and they rub you the wrong way in unmentionable places. ;o)
Yeah, and the one I've ordered will have more than that. In addition to all the loops you see, there'll be 2 footman's loops on the back of the cantle and 2 on the front of the pommel. In case you don't know what a footman's loop is, they look like tiny little towel bars. I like them better than those big loose rings for tying my pommel and cantle bag to because it doesn't flop around as much. I'll probably take all the rings off once I get it and put tie-strings in their place, because all the rings do is rattle. If I ever need to sell it, I'll put 'em back on. That's what I did with my first Ortho Flex saddle. The darned thing had rings all over it and I sounded like Santa Claus coming down the trail.
Hey, that's not a bad looking saddle at all.

I just talked to the girl that bought Rusty. Letting her know I've got an English Saddle for sale.
Anyway she said she has sold Rusty. She had decided to keep him because he was so good, and everyone loved him. Great lesson horse. But then, of course, a family showed up that needed a horse for the mother, just loved him and had to have him. He is living on a big ranch, running in pastures:). I bet those people paid a hell of a price for him too:). But all's well that ends well.
Becky
Well good for Rusty. I'm glad he's in a good spot. :~D
I went back and looked at another picture of it taken from the front and it looked awful narrow and I sure as heck don't need that. So it's just as well that I've got the others on order.
I'm glad to hear that about Rusty.
Well, I just talked to Jenny, I think things are starting to go. We went to the doctor again yesterday, and she was up to almost a 3 and the doctor said anytime, and this morning she thinks things are starting....
Becky
Oh boy! :~D Are you going to the hospital when she goes?
Is this her first?
You bet:).
This is her first.
Once I get some bookwork done that I'm doing right now, I may go to her house, Travis isn't home right now, but should be coming shortly, but he has to take Blake to ball practice tonight. Of course he would miss that if things were heating up:)
Becky
Keeping my fingers crossed - wish you had a laptop to take to the hospital with you :)
Thanks:) I'm hoping this is it, I know since I'm so ready to get this over with, she must really be ready.
Becky
Oh boy, Becky! Keep up posted!
Good Afternoon...I am at home today, and my ping list is messed up in Word....I will have to send from work again.
WOO HOO! Good news about the baby! We'll keep them both in our prayers for a safe and healthy delivery.
