If a person had enough land and could keep breeds separated you could have a horse farm that people could walk or drive thru and visit. It could be very education with inservices and stuff.
You should take a trip to the Kentucky National Horse Park. I went there about 5 or 6 years ago when I went to Nationals. for 4-H.

I've heard of that place. One day I'll check it out. Going to be a busy day today. I have weight watchers at 9:30, a riding lesson at 1, and an Easter egg hunt at 5. House cleaning and cooking in between. Oh and we are setting up a pool. Whew.

Good Morning.

Nice to see the trees greening up, Becky. Here too. I am going to have to mow the lawn soon. With the price of gas, it's going to be expensive to mow.

I'm wondering if that's why she got the mare at a "reasonable price." :-) She was duped.

It's funny, Celia and I were talking about how things AREN'T greening up like they should. It's still very very dry out there and the leaves look thin and small that are growing:(. We really really need rain.

I'm giving Harley another day off. I'm going to try to stick to riding 2 and giving one off.

The price of gas is going to determine alot of things this summer:(.

Good morning all! Haven't been here for a while so I scrolled back and looked at the pictures of the Gypsy Vanner. Beautiful! I went on a trail ride with my group in South Texas called Las Caballeras, I will post pics. This was about 8 miles from the Rio Grande. Didn't see any illegals but herard lots of stories. Took a pic of a friend through an old water tank that had been cut up for pieces of metal.

Don't know how to do multiple pictures on one post so will just do them as well as I can. This is a bird's nest in cactus, the bird has been using Angora fleece to make its nest (friends have Angora goats angora= morhair)

More pictures of trail ride. This was on a ranch that borders George Strait's ranch.

A pastor of my church in California had a couple of those horses. The were black and white like those, but I didn't think they were so small. I don't have any other knowledge of them though.

He's a cute little guy. I liked the way she wrote her story, esp the part of dead silence when he brayed:')
