Yeah. I have to be on antibiotics 10 days first though. I have TMJ and I'm tired of it. They gotta go.
Oh boy, I'm in the same boat as you with the wisdom teeth. I have 2 impacted ones but right now, they don't bother me. A few years ago my dentist forced me to go to a maxillofacial surgeon to see if he could get them out and he said he couldn't without tearing my face up, I should have had them out years ago. Too late now. So, when they start causing problems I'll probably have to have the teeth next to them pulled.
What part of Texas are you in?
My daughter's mare, Winnie, is in heat right now and it's too funny. She sticks her butt in Tuffy's face, spreads 'em and winks, Tuffy takes a sniff then turns around for her to sniff his butt. He just doesn't get it.
Glad things are coming along with your colt and working him in halter and ground work. Did you get him gelded yet?
Contrary to popular belief, in wild herds the mares run things and the stallion is barely tolerated :~D The older he gets, the more he'll tangle with other horses, right now, he's got the pass of being a baby. If there are really stallions in the group next door, I'd be real hesitant to put him out there.
It could be worse... I could show you pictures :~D
Well, with FR bein' down, we went out and fenced off the front lawn area that gets worn to dirt all winter by dogs and traffic, softened it up a bit with the shovel and overseeded it. It may be a little too early to seed lawn, but we're feeling optimistic. We did it too early last year too, but after sitting there a month doin' nothin, it finally germinated just fine. :~D
Now we're gonna run in to the feed store and buy Rosie a fence.
Well, this morning I've started laundry, cleaned a bathroom cupboard, traced camo pattern on three 18"X24" watercolor sheets, and checked FR a million times at least.
Looks like the sun is shining at your house too.
Hey, glad things are going good, and glad you've gotten to the halter stage:)
As far as the pregnant mares, I've heard putting a young stallion, in with pregnant mares is the best way to teach him manners:). It might look rough to you and me, but the stallion (are you going to leave him a stallion), learns to mind his manners.
As far as the bites and kicks he gets, that's pretty much going to happen any time horses run in a pasture together.

Pesto is delicious! Cook up a batch of pasta (usually linguine or angel hair) and mix in the pesto straight from the jar (just like any other kind of sauce.) I like to shave a little parmesan on top, too.
I am moving to Ocala in a few weeks and may chime in with photos from horse shows, etc.
Back to lurking for now.
It was good. I still used too much because it was really buttery. As you can see, I'm having some jaw pain. I bought these soft cheese noodles at Sams but I couldn't find instructions on how to use the sauce. I didn't know how much or if it needed cooking. Turns out you just dip it out:')
Yesh, she asked me if I clinched my jaw at night. I told her I didn't think so but did during the day. She laughed and told me if I did it during the day I was doing it at night.
That's it, I think. (I'm not at home) The green stuff:')
Did you try it?
Let me ask mom. She doesn't stay away from hubby overnight anymore. He went for a sleep study two days this week. She didn't like being without him and went with him the second night. Kinda sweet.
The pesto? Yeah. It woul probably be good on toast.
I grind my teeth so bad it wakes my husband up at night. I cracked 2 teeth doing it and had to have 2 crowns. I try a little harder to remember my nightguard now.
Snow, rain, cold, just a miserable day here. Kids went to the horse sale, but didn't stay long. Too cold, and not much in the way of horses there. Lots of people thou, social event for the horsey set.
I hope you are feeling better.
Excellent day to 'frag...lol
I had my wisdom teeth removed this past June. It was the best thing that I ever did. Lord were they painful.
