I'm going to bury and lose him:)
Here's a few pictures since it's been slow here on horse stuff.

Hyacinth.

and the fern.

Well, it at least looks like spring where you are!
We're starting to think like it's spring here... I want to fence our main front yard off from the dogs and traffic again to overseed. It just gets worn to dirt in winter. Looking forward to doing that.
And I think I'll untarp the trailer soon and take it down to be checked out, brakes and bearings and such... And the blue truck too.
Horse-wise, Bay is shedding copious quantities, which is always a huge relief to me, but I wouldn't put myself or my gear near him right now! He's a MESS.

That's so funny that your's are shedding so much. Rocky is just sort of getting started, and Harley hasn't shed at all.

It has been awful slow in here lately, hasn't it:)
I know you can't ever really tell from pictures and even foals can be deceiving about how they will look when they mature, but Bucket, poor thing, looks like he could have some confirmation problems.

When Bay rolled the other day, he changed the color of the ground, he shed so much hair.
And then, the interesting part is, birds swarmed in to gather up the hair... they're all nesting :~D

When Charlie lived here he had a great big gray, and you could always find the place he rolled because the ground would be white with hair:)
I've seen birds nests around that have horse hair in them:) That is so cool:)

I've got a birdnest that made ENTIRELY of horse mane hair. It's really cool. I was riding at this friend of a friend's place and I had parked by a little tree and I found it on the ground at the foot of the tree. It was so cute coz it was maybe 3" in diameter and about an inch deep. The guy who lived there had a couple of palominos, so the nest was made of blonde and white hairs. The little bird must've pulled them off the fence where the horses had been sticking their heads through the barbed wire to graze and pulling their manes out.
