Been looking at Bayliner for a couple of years. Also, Sea Ray, which I think is too expensive. Bayliners seem the most reasonably priced so far. The boat I mentioned would be about $14,000 w/trailor +tax and destination.

We live right on the Mississippi, so have plenty of opportunity to use it in the warmer months.

Yeah, mine came out to around 30K. But I saw a Grady-White (supposed to be one of the best made) same size and same HP engine at the show for 68K. So I figured I got a good deal.

I guess you don't have to worry too much about rough water on the river, not like on the Chesapeake Bay and ocean.
