The obvious solution to bump-drafting is eliminating the restrictor plates. But I never hear any drivers mentioning that.

We know what NASCAR thinks. Does anyone have a pulse on what the drivers think about that option?

I don't think I've heard much from the drivers on that subject either.

I like the plate races personally, they are more exciting to watch than the tracks where they get strung out going round and round. However, a few little punks may ruin it by thinking they are invincible and can slam draft with the big boys.

Of course Nascar had the whole off season to fix this because it was going on at Dega, but chose not to. Now at the last minute they are going to adopt a NEW rule with a lot of grey areas including a no bump area. We'll see, but they better be careful about handing out those penalties or they will have fans walking out of the track. There's already a buzz about that.
