If they drive in the 500 like the Shootout there is going to be a really big one again. Shrub got a warning to calm down yesterday, we will find out on Thursday if he has decided not to race like a wild man and as if every lap is the last lap. I'm just glad he's not in my drivers group. On Sunday there will be twice as many cars on the track.
Sometimes I don't agree with DW at all but tonight he said the drivers are getting too comfortable with safety measures like the soft walls and the in-car advances in the last 5 years which makes them careless on the track.
There always is and expect more than one. I have never been a fan of restrictor plate racing, but if they really want to stop the bump drafting, all they have to do is remove the reinforcement front the front bumper. All the cut down spoilers, reduced fuel tanks, and whickerbills in the world will not stop it.
