"How did you set this up?"
Good Question - I'm not sure, LOL. I'm running Linux, so I downloaded the console (no window version available for Linux) and then said yes to advanced methods. I think it asked if I wanted to run it as a service and I said yes. I think I may have also used a couple of settings that I maybe should not have - not really sure what I did, but here's a link to a good install guide (I found it after I did my install - I may redo it using their tools but I don't have time right now).
The Ultimate FAH Install Guide
Hope that helps.
BTW - I don't really know much about Linux - I just followed someone's suggestion and downloaded the Mepis version of it and it installed without any configuration from me - found all the hardware & got the drivers right, etc.

The only problem is that the GUI client sometimes wants to be restarted (crashes and needs to be restarted) when it gets a new WU. Never a point loss and it doesn't always happen. The GUI is in the start folder and the console is manually started from the "run" line (where the computer remembers the command string - though it sometimes needs to be "run" twice to get it going).
I'd like to point out that the GUI seems to represent the actual unit that is being folded. I have an 1809 that has THREE intertwined spirals and is cool to watch being displayed from the different perspectives as it progresses.

Hyper-Threading. Roughly, a process where by a single program can run faster by using two processors or processes more or less simultaneously.
