SNIP
Among the possible deal-breakers they discuss are:
too much perfume/cologne
talking about a past relationship
a guy ordering an apple martini
woman who does the old "I'll have a salad" routine
body odor and/or bad breath
checking out the waiter/bartender
setting up the date via text message/e-mail
too much make-up/plastic hair
So what exactly are the very worst deal-breakers? Depends on whom you ask. Speaking for women, Nicole's top picks are :
guy that is down on his luck--pathetic!
guy that acts rude or cocky
guy that talks on his cell phone
And the top three for men, according to Ian:
woman who acts like she's interviewing a guy
woman trying to make over a guy
woman with restrictive eating habits (Do I look fat?)

I can't believe nobody picked that up and ran with it! I'm laughing over here, being married for 13 years! ha!!

Yeah, the ABL stuff was definitely a stretch but she also notes that she's a rocket scientist!
When I lived in Elicott City, I dated a rocket scientist who worked at Aberdeen.
I have to admit, I enjoyed telling people I was dating a "Rocket Scientist"!

Wow, that brings back memories! But instead of Mountain Dew, we had Coke and Everclear.

If a girl not giving you change was your worst date, you've done pretty darn good.
Best date: Any of them where the guy had the evening planned.
Worst date: When I get into the car and he says, "so what do you want to do?"

The way a date treats a waiter or waitress is the way they would treat you after five years of marriage. :-)

Hey, I thought you would like being given the chance to help decide! Most girls would appreicate thinking of ways to spend $7.50!
To: Maximus of Texas
You big spender, you. With $7.50 to spend I'd go to Wal-Mart and get some Hershey bars.

Technically speakin' of course, this is how you should ship your first date a torpedo.... Holy smokes!
That's one helluva SINKEX. I'd love to know what torpedo was used. In my world, I deal with air-dropped MK-46, MK-50 (and MK-54 --though I've never actually seen one of these).
I don't think my torpedos make quite that big of a "boom!"
I'm guessing that's a much bigger MK-48.

British ship: Notice the raised f'csle deck and cleaner, less boxy lines of US destroyer/frigate "boxes on hulls"?
Almost certainly a Brit torpedo'ed was used, but I don't know when, and I'd really hate to "date" myself. (It gets lonely talkin' to yourself ya know.)

My SINKEX was of an old WWII sub tender hit with two Mk-48's.
First didn't do it, (still floating an hour or so later), so they put a second one in.
Very, very rigorous "protocols and procedures - I'm not really sure that with all of the arcane rules and politics, that any SINKEX is really good training (or testing!) of real weapons under real circumstances.
German torpedoes in WWII failed because of bad testing of ALL THREE sub-systems (guidance, depth-keeping, and fuse.) US torpedoes almost lost the early war effort with failures of the same three: the magnetic fuse in particular was bad, but circular runs and the fuse cost many lives, and many, many failures attacks.

He was a guitar player and decided to sing to me acappella "Stairway To Heaven" There was your first clue. He must not have been much of a guitarist if he chose to sing to you unaccompanied.

at first I'm thinking "Ok he is kind of cute and I like this song" unfortunately as the night progressed whatever I thought was possibly sweet wore off and my normal attitude of "You are a weirdo" started up ;P
