Yep. This one was on mail order brides, the law to protect them and how it made men out to be abusers. Well, the men on there were bashing American women and saying how much better foreign brides were. Then this yahoo said that in Bangkok, the American expatriates would not date the American women because they could date the younger, more beautiful Asian women instead and they were superior. I had to flame him in my nice little southern belle way and we were off.

Heh...I've been told that I "missed the boat" since I didn't get married by 21. So I guess I'm past my shelf life, too.

Like I said...I wouldn't want them, either. So I guess the feeling is mutual. ;-) I have no problem with guys OR gals marrying foreign spouses if things end up happening that way, but mail order? Um...

Good on you. To think one would have to go "overseas" to find "someone" tells me that things aren't all together that smooth with one's ownself. Besides, I've been out of country, and there is nothing like our women anywhere!
