FEET Ball thread! whoopee what a great idea pack! Love all the great info & thank you for all the trivia/research. I am to go to a super bowl party but the weather might change that if we get hit as badly as some forecasters predict
Out last night & again tonight so wont visit during the height of the chatting but want to say hi to everyone!
New pup a few days ago. Working out pretty well.. Toby seems to be grieving less. He spent most outside time just laying across Oliver's grave.

OK, could my pooter just be a lemon??? I seriously doubt that. The problem you're having is something in software. I assumed it was some glitch in the reg. That may not be the problem though. BUT the reg is usually the first place I look for problems in windows systems.
It could be some other program you have loaded that is causing some kind of conflict. It's hard to say without actually being there on site and checking your computer.
You are not alone. Many people have these kinds of problems with windows OS. As long as there is MS "WinDoze" OS.... there will be problems like this. Sad but true.

Well if you insist (ha!)
this is Josy (Joe-see) 4 or 5 month old female Germans shep mix Pictures of Toby & Oliver(who died suddenly Dec 12) are on my profile page. Haven't added Josy yet. These were from our first outing. She had been outdoors in back fenced yard but never out in wood playing. I kept her on leash (and still am for now).. but she had a ball learning how to romp & play with big, energetic dogs. Last pix is my friend John & his two dogs a golden & dingo. the middle dog is my Toby a golden mix. Josy is observing the 3 males battle over ONE stick

"I think what backhoe means by "cleaning the disk" is to re format the disk. Then you'll end up with a "blank" HD and you'll have to reload windows and all your other programs. Myself, I would recommend that only as a last resort.
What say you, backhoe?"
Yes, absolutely.
Try other stuff first.
One other idea? Defrag the drive-- best one I know is diskeeper lite- that's the free version ( hattip: Ernest_at_the_beach ) and the first time you run it, it will seems as slow as Windows defrag, but after that, it is much, much faster.
