You know the death penalty is a hard issue for me. I support the death penalty in cases where the preponderance of evidence is so heavy the there is absolutely no doubt of the defendant's guilt. The manner in which it is used now precludes it to fault. I do believe there are many who deserve the death penalty. Now, you will tell me about the millions of people that Castro has killed. If Castro is a murderer and is tried and convicted as such, I would have no problem with his execution. But I don't really see that as "wishing death upon someone". I see that as dealing justifiable punishment to an unjust criminal.
