Art's a great guy. I have the feeling that he privately disbelieved much of his show's material, but he had a strong knack for nurturing an atmosphere of trust conducive to unusual exchanges.

I think of Art's show as campfire 'n smores time, like I used to have as a kid. That, or the family chats you'd have when the power went out. It feels great, and if you trust everyone present, you end up wondering about stuff you'd NEVER think about during the day.

I think that's been going on since cave-man days, actually.

I hope Art NEVER stops...
