"Send Her My Love" is a good song. "Faithfully" is an easy song to sing karaoke. Not too many high notes to hit! LOL!

Ok - saved the list. Next weekend I'll play them all -- or as many as I can get my hands on! :o)

Survivor - good stuff there. Another underrated band IMHO. Loved "Eye of the Tiger" and "Burning Heart." Another good one was "High on You."
In 1982 or 83 I won free tickets to see Survivor and REO Speedwagon. Only concert I ever walked out on.

I don't have time to read this whole thread!!
Is "I Wanna Know Where Love Is" by Foreigner listed here anyplace?
If it is, I apologize in advance, for the song and for repeating it.

Thanks for posting this pissant. These are always fun and nostalgic threads for me.
RR it's always fun playing "Rockin' the 80's" with you. Rock on my friend :)
I'll check back a little later.

"Alone" is a good one from Heart."I Didn't Want To Need You" is a another good one. Has a great guitar riff throughout.

1. Open Arms-- Journey Woo Hooo! =) There should be more Journey on the list. They're virtual royalty when it comes to the power ballad. I mean, come on, Faithfully didn't make the list? I suppose they didn't want any more than one per group though.

A "power ballad", by definition, sucks. They all suck-didily-uck.

NICE list!!!
I could listen to that!! :oD
Copied and saved!
I'd add a few less overplayed Kansas tunes and a little Robin Trower, more Sweet and maybe some more Triumph! Oh -- and my favorite Queen song. And of course the very best BOC song (IMO)... "Take Me Away"
:o) I love Classic rock!!

LOL! Yeah, that list of mine is a work in progress. Some of them I stumbled upon by accident, or heard on the radio online. Online radio stations are nice in that they show the artist and song title, because I have heard some songs over the years, yet I don't know the name of the title. LOL!
Heck, I have a couple of Michael Jackson tunes from his "Thriller" album. Which is his best album IMHO.

I recommend the Canadian group, The Tragically Hip (they have a huge following in the Northern United States), and Blue Rodeo (another Canadian rock band) was doing crossover country and rock before their time. LOL

One of my favorite classic rock stations is
Q107 out of Toronto. They have "theme weekends", which might be just the kind of station you're looking for. :)
One of my favorite theme weekends is their "A to Z" weekend. They play their entire playlist starting on Friday afternoons with artists starting with the letter A and ending on Sunday evening with Z.

Have you ever heard Steve Walsh's solo album "Schemer Dreamer" or have you heard the band "Missouri"? They were a one hit wonder with "Movin' On" which was very popular here...in Missouri! LOL I'm a fan of Asia and Toto too. And we own a TON of Kansas CD's.
