Another consideration of the artificial muscle enhanced excursion suit is that if it is properly designed for the purpose, the tasks of reading the desired muscle movement from the user, and engaging the artificial muscles to perform the task, can be separated into two functions.
One could wear the suit, and go forth to deal with things directly, or one could wear the section which reads the motions of the operator, and sends the signal to the suit,
which would be ambulating and functioning in a separate location.
One's uncomfortable physical environment could be entered by the suit alone. It would become a tele-operated robot.
If one wanted to send Knights in Shining Armor out to do battle with each other using battle axes and broadswords, I'd hope the operators are safely enclosed in the tele-operator's booth rather than inside the doomed gladiators out in the arena.
"What are you and Prout up to?" One never knows where such idle speculation may lead.
"If one wanted to send Knights in Shining Armor out to do battle with each other using battle axes and broadswords, I'd hope the operators are safely enclosed in the tele-operator's booth rather than inside the doomed gladiators out in the arena."
I'm getting a glimmer of a potential entertainment possibility here.
