The ones I had were "rolled" to force the air out, then sealed. Simple.
I got SOOOO many clothes in there, and a lot of my clothes are silk. They came out looking fresh. No wrinkles. And my bag is small...it fits in the overhead. She's placed the order. Don't know if they'll come in time. Not too sure about putting my suit in them, either. But the entire trip's only a week, departure to return, and that includes ~26 hours transit each way. Still, it will be a help for my winter and summer meetings which run about a week each, with a suit on top of "business casual" meeting wear.
The goodwife just said, "I'm so glad Monkey Face mentioned that. You'll have to tell her thanks for me!"

You've been in the clouds too long, sionnsar...Been there. Hubby's family is scattered from Kent to Lakewood Center near Ft. Lewis.
I have been there when I really wished my MIL had air conditioning in her house...but still needed to wear jackets when we went to ride a ferry.
Did get to see Mt. Rainer raise itself out of the haze, in an almost clear moment. Amazing. So rare, I have been told.

I am honored by your compliments, and hope I never have to eat my words, or umble pi, whilst discussing technology and gross (er, a handful of) plenisoaurs in the moat.

HAH!
You obviously never spent a lifetime in the family I came from. Puns were the odor of the day. I was number six in a family of seven kids, and I was always underwhelmed by the sheer lobstrosity of the wit, even if I was only half right.

Keep an eye out for a pink bunny with a drum, he is wanted for battery. And it's a good thing he had no pepper spray, or that punny rabbit might be wanted for assault and battery.

Stand by, the Yellow Face is expected out all next week. How shall I cope?!
How are you faring with the winds? I got pelted with tree branches on the way to my oboe lesson in Black Diamond, but here at Lakeland Hills everything seems okay. My garbage can is down the hill, but that's all.

Awwwshucks...
You'll like them so well you will wonder what you did without them. And PLEASE! Put your suit in! When you take it out, all you have to do is hang it up and it will look like it just came from the cleaners. I promise!
(No thanks necessary, Mrs. Sionnsar!)

How odd...when we lived in Oly, Mt. Rainier was almost always visible. I loved the green lushness of the area, but it didn't like me. I guess I had already lived in the desert too long!

Yah...it's hard for me to believe that Ogden is almost light years away from Tucson, but I miss the mountains rising off the valley floor. I really need to go back and take some photos...

You've been in the clouds too long, sionnsar...Been there. Hubby's family is scattered from Kent to Lakewood Center near Ft. Lewis.Clouds Woods. Lovely. Dark and deep. But I have promises to keep.
I have been there when I really wished my MIL had air conditioning in her house...but still needed to wear jackets when we went to ride a ferry.
It happens, something like 3 - 4 days per year. Hardly worth A/C... except during those 3 - 4 days per year.
Did get to see Mt. Rainer raise itself out of the haze, in an almost clear moment. Amazing. So rare, I have been told.
Depends upon the time of year. I had a colleague who'd been to Seattle dozens of times without ever seeing Rainier, even when hiking on it. Until the very end of a week-long series of meetings in Seattle (6/1999) when, during dinner, the clouds parted and the mountain came out. All he could say was, "Oh, my god!"
(And yes, we say, "The mountain is out.")
