10) Motorcade's the first time it took 40 minutes to get anywhere. Then it took MORE than 40 minutes.
9) When they showed the motorcade on the highway, there was no traffic on either side. If they blocked traffic to let them through, there would be no doubt about where they were going. If they didn't, why wouldn't there be any traffic in the middle of the day.

7) If you are inside the principle's car, and the only thing protecting you is the fact the doors are locked, you would NEVER open the door even to take shots at the perps. It would only take one lucky shot back and you've given up your charges. You hunker down and wait for backup, and trust the car.
6) Blowing up Jack made no sense at all. Surely the company would notice that the building blew up, and it's hard to hide that from outsiders. Why not just shoot him while he's not looking?
5) How did he know Jack was coming LONG ENOUGH TO GET A BOMB that he could use? Again, if he had that much time, just put some guys in the room to shoot Jack.
4) Jack realised things were going wrong in like a minute, but they guy had already left the building, got to his car, drove away, and made a phone call. Seemed a little quick.
3) If you just let terrorists blow up your wife and the russian president, why would you think they would leave you alone? I understand not wanting bad things to happen on your watch, but nobody can be so stupid as to not realise that next hour they will ask you to do something ELSE, and then something ELSE. And of course now they can tell the world that you had the russian president blown up.

1) FLOTUS: I don't mind dying and having the russian president die, so long as I don't cross my husband? I'm sorry, but why does she think that as long as she dies, it's OK that she lets the russian president and first lady get killed? How is she going to feel now when she realises that she LET the attack happen? How will she live with the knowledge that she really isn't any better than her husband, except she was willing to DIE for his deception?

THE FLOTUS DID cross her husband by entering the limousine. By entering she placed the president is a situation he HAD to act to save her and consequently the Russian President/wife.

I believe the FLOTUS character gambled that her presence in the motorcade would prevent the possible scenario. In that the president would certainly order the motorcade stopped/turned around in order to save his wife. The scenes showed her extremely distressed...possibly wondering when her husband would order the motorcade stopped. Also the FLOTUS character would extremely stressed with the knowledtge that her husband was NOT going to do anything to prevent the attack, thus allowing her in extreme harm's way.
