I must've missed something there, as I'm not clear on why Palmer wanted to talk to the FLOTUS in the first place? What's his point about talking to her? Shouldn't he be talking to Logan?

Logan wouldn't listen, arrogant pompous ass that he is. So the only way Palmer could contact him was through the first lady.

I wonder the same thing... why would Palmer pick the crazy wife to talk to - I understand the president is an idiot but why not try to warn the former aid Mike Novick (sp)... or anyone at CTU?

And why would Palmer know in the first place? They haven't told us that yet.
