Knowing my doctor as I do and knowing how my doctor knows me, asking about "unbuffered sodium or potassium cyanide" might be problematic!

Both of us have strange senses of humor when we see each other!

Well, the important thing is to have confidence in your doc. Recently had one, quite at random, in whom confidence was, shall we say, not an option. This chap apparently is the only person in the history of the world who had both Chicken Little and Benito Mussolini in his family tree.

Being a marginally reasonable person, I acquired a different doctor directly. Matters have worked well since.

''Ask Your Doctor'' was, unfortunately, one of my typically don't-give-up-the-day-job attempts at humour (sigh...).

BTW, speaking historically -- this may have changed, but I'm not aware of any revised stats -- the favoured method of suicide of **doctors** is and has been for years just 10mg NaNCH (sodium cyanide) push.
