I hate when they put everything on the same night. Last week I think there were 4 things on Thursday night I wanted to watch. But TIVO helps. :)

OMgosh! You just gave me a great idea where this could be headed. Logan becomes incapacitated -- stroke or whatever, and MARTHA becomes "President" (without anyone outside the WH knowing) so the country doesn't have to suffer through yet another transfer of power. Would that be a great plot twist or what? I wonder if I should call it in...
Well, go at once to the video store and rent the first seasons ... they're good.

Purely speculation, but I'm wondering, since it's been rumored that this is Sutherlands last year, if they are setting Tony up to be the next Jack:). Wife murdered, former head of CTU, recovering from an addiction, etc. Lots of similarities. If so, what happens to Jack???? Yikes, could be interesting.

I've been in a number of facilities where the rasied for is 30 - 40 inches of access space. Needed for infrastructure, communication/security blocks/internet/video lines (of ALL types). Seen where maintainance pulls up carpet squares, removes panels and can work/access by stoop walking all around the facility.
THE FLOTUS DID cross her husband by entering the limousine. By entering she placed the president is a situation he HAD to act to save her and consequently the Russian President/wife.
I believe the FLOTUS character gambled that her presence in the motorcade would prevent the possible scenario. In that the president would certainly order the motorcade stopped/turned around in order to save his wife. The scenes showed her extremely distressed...possibly wondering when her husband would order the motorcade stopped. Also the FLOTUS character would extremely stressed with the knowledtge that her husband was NOT going to do anything to prevent the attack, thus allowing her in extreme harm's way.
If that was true, Jack could have just crawled out of the room under the floor ;~D
Not every facility is constructed the same way.
That vault could have been sealed and tempest controlled to prevent all egress/igress, all electronic emanations at all levels. Just access within the contailed/controlled vault.
I know I cannot 'go' to the rooms on either side of me. Or those other occupants to other rooms/programs...as they all are differing missions/programs with differing 'need to know' access. Whether by vault door or under floor/panel access.
I think it will cause Logan big problems that the first lady survived. He's GOT to go.

WHAT!!!????? PLEASE tell me this is not true. The show won't be the same without Bauer.
I saw an interview with him on the 24 site and he alluded to something about how the show will go on without Jack. Even Kim Raver mentioned it too.
I think that it's been a rumor since about the 3rd year:) So don't worry about it too much.
