the accord wasn't even the issue for him... it was that it was his legacy of his admin...not that the accord would save lives, create freedom, create peace, etc.. but that it was his showpiece... I guess that is what made me think of Kerry....i guess I am too young to relate it to Nixon...

The reference to legacy reminded me of clintoon - although bj would never have been on time for anything - let alone a tv appearance to sign a treaty for his own legacy.

I can't stand it when that show is over. It's got my attention, and I hardly even watch network tv, outside of NCIS, HOUSE, and Galactica.
I also dug it a great deal when Jack killed the guy with the switchblade at the oil rig site. I like switchblades.
At the airport, that explosive entry was also mega cool. You gotta admit, a breaching charge that blows a pop machine halfway across the room is pretty big.
