Dang. He was a good president & man, and he smacked Sherry down pretty good, too! Pulled Logan out of the crapper as well. I knew when Jack heard that Palmer had been assassinated, the body count was about to start and the numbers would, over the entire season, probably be astronomical.

They understood each other.

He should have realized that Jack doesn't need help.

Good point, but remember the kid "doesn't know Jack." He knows "Frank" the roustabout renting a room from his mom and has only seen a small portion of what "Jack" can do. I still hope he survives and gets to see the "full on Jack Bauer."

Then again....look how the writers took care of the first ten minutes of the season opener. Derek could be outta' there before we even have a chance to say "Wha?!"

Yes. SO far as I know, every defense contractor with the possibility of foreign travel is required to take this online training as part of their contracts, but I don't know that for a fact.

Here's the problem the show has with time. If you look at season two they have Jack all over LA by car and flying the bomb out to the desert. The time frames are compacted. He couldn't make the trips he makes in an hour.

Last night he asked the kid's mon where she was. She said 210 and 10. That puts her near the ontario airport. However, it's clear Jack is in LA. He can't drive to Ontario in the 10 minutes or so he did last night. No problem, it's still a great show and most of the country doesn't know the locales.

The Ontario Airport has two new modern terminals. When you see the brick single-story building like last night and in Catch Me If You Can, it's being filmed at the old terminal. Mostly vacant and a preferred shooting sight for LA airport scenes.

I saw that in some of his "social conscience" comments, but no way when it came to foreign policy.

Maybe that's what he meant. No way could he mean C & C when it comes to foreign policy.

I think Logan reminds me of Nixon. He's almost an exact replica, face-wise. Attitude-wise, he is close to Kerry

And don't forget the previous president (18 months earlier) was not killed, but just wounded and incapacitated. They have yet to resolve that thread. I bet he comes back out of invalid-ity to straighten out Mr. Nixon.

No, my kick in life is watching cliff hangers then going to bed about 15 minutes before the end then spending the rest of my life formulating endings that I think should apply. That way the bad guy always gets it in the end. At least according to my story line............
