>>For an American Catholic visitor, Europe is a puzzling and sometimes discouraging place these days. Is God dead here? Many signs suggest that Europeans think so.<<
I'm sure they think He's dead, but it is not God who died.

"In The Prague Post, a front-page article reports, how the city has become Europe's new capital for pornographic filmmaking, while an op-ed examines why only 19% of the people in this once-religious country believe that God exists." Europe's being overrun by muslims now, and that is directly related to Christianity being almost dead on that continent. When God is pushed out it leaves a huge vacuum, one that His enemies quickly fill.

By 2040, Notre Dame Cathedral will be a mosque, and the spires will be minarets.

Christianity is far from dead in Europe. Yes, it has been in decline, but they have not been persecuted in a long time. As Islam grows, so will the Faith of Europe, especially the Catholics. Check out these linked pictures from the 2005 World Youth Day in Germany!
