Basically, yesterday I wrote a review of Brokeback Mountain I was very honest and not derogatory in anyway. I stated that the advertising for the movie was misleading and that the movie itself ignored the fact that these men destroyed the families they created rather than making a choice not to have those families when they realized they were gay.
I gave the movie the rating of F on the Yahoo scale.
Now the yahoo people have sent me a threatening email and have said they are going to close my account if I engage in any more of these activities. Well I guess they better close the account because they aren't going to threaten me. In fact I may take an entire day one day and open hundreds of free yahoo accounts to waste their bandwidth and find someway to get all those accounts spammed so it wastes more bandwidth. I am so sick of the leftists that run Yahoo.
Many of these have absolutely nothing in them that would be objectionable other than the fact they give the movie a bad review. This goes to show that someone possibly Yahoo is helping this film by stifling honest dissent. When A leftist objects to something it's lauded when a conservative objects it's hate regardless of the truth. If all the negative reviews this film has generate were still there it would have at least a D.
Gay Mafia tolerance and diversity! All gay all day or no way.
Yahoo is a bunch of Communist shill lackeys.
I bailed on my Yahoo accounts and left a vacation message redirect that tells exactly how much I think Yahoo sucks.
They banned me from posting messages in their 'forum' because I am pro-life.
Losers, all the way through. Lost, lost, lost.
By the end of this age, I predict the Internet will only be accessible to those who possess the Mark of the Beast.
Dear Yahoo,
Bite me.
So sincerely,
Former Yahoo'er.
Ps I will gladly pay for a gig of storage than use yours free.
Google is Yahoo at an earlier point in their development.
They're both Commies.
No. Your wrong. Anyone can report abuse on any of the message boards for whatever reason. I received the exact same letter from Yahoo because I left a negative review. You can report abuse, too! Go to the Yahoo message area, open a message from someone, and if it offends you, click "Report Abuse". The person who wrote the original message will receive the exact same letter.
This is a legitimate and real e-mail message from Yahoo!. I received one myself for writing a negative review about Brokeback Mountain. I just didn't like the movie. I gave it a "D". The problem is, and it's a problem with Yahoo, if you offend someone, for whatever reason, that person can report the post as abuse. You can do it also. When you go to the message board for Brokeback Mountain, and then you read a message, there is a "link" on the left that says "Report Abuse". All you have to do is click this, a new screen will pop up. You fill in you e-mail address and why the message offended you. Click "SEND", and in a few hours, the person who wrote that message (or Post) will receive the identical e-mail from Yahoo stating they have violated their agreement with Yahoo. It's that simple. Anyone (Yahoo Users Only) can do it.
So, go to the message area in the Brokeback Mountain movie reviews, and read the messages. If one offends you, click "report abuse". I think you will find many messages there that will offend you. If a person receives many reports of abuse, their account will be terminated...so use this feature freely.
Okay, fine.... my bad.
The email warning could be the work of a maverick employee for Yahoo.
Wow. A site on warn-O-matic.
Yep...it seems the "gays" on the Brokeback Mountain message board will report you for abuse if you leave any message that slightly hints a being derogatory or negative about their lifestyle. (They are soooo "liberal" as long it is what they want to hear). My suggestion to everyone is to use the "report abuse" link on Yahoo for every message that offends you.
I posted my own review...I gave it an F... let's see what happens.
