You don't want an Edison disc. They use a special needle. Same with Pathe discs. I should know. I have a friend who has a 1920s combi-player that can play both of those PLUS the "78" format that became the industry standard.

Wouldn't want to buy a whole "new" player just to listen to one recording, would you?
