Like a Rhinestone Cowboy... Yes you are correct, any westerns done from the 60's on, the heros are feminized sissies who would rather talk their way out of a situation then shoot their way out. John Ford must be turning in his grave!

I must protest this. In none of Clint Eastwood's westerns is he anything remotely like a sissy. Haven't you seen Fist full of dollars, Good the bad & the ugly, or The Outlaw Josey Wales?

Eastwood made some great westerns, no doubt. The 'Duke' is still the king in my opinion. I will watch just about any movie tha includes John Wayne ( with the exception of, maybe,McQ and The Conquerer). If it has Maureen O'Hara it is a must watch.
