Thank you Peach. Those volcanos are always doing something and every time they erupt, they spread a nice fine layer of good earth over everything. One year I was in Anchorage when a volcano blew, by noon, we couldn't see a thing because the "soot" was so thick. The next summer my aunt had dalias (sp) as big as dinner plates. It did spook their diary cattle though. Her strawberries were fantastic, and her cabbages were huge. Sometimes a volcano does good things.

Gotta go make coffee. bbl.

How fascinating what volcanic eruptions and the resulting soot does for the soil; I never knew that but certainly it makes sense.

Just a quick drive by good morning to all. Molly & I are getting a weather break.. the ground is softer for an unfinished task that needs to be done.

Iowa.. my back has been awful. Was at chiropractor twice this week.. Late yesterday afternoon.. better today but I need to really pamper it , which is nearly impossible in my situation.

Kassie, good luck w/kitty. your male will still be frisky etc if you play with him & give him opportunities for exercise. Multiple cat households provide this naturally. I have had both male & female cats which become "plump" after neutering.. and many that have remained slim. Guess maybe it is a lot like people. Genetics, activity etc.

I have been wanting to get in a little riding also 2/3. I ride just about year round but admit to NOT particularly enjoying weather below 40 for biking.

Lots of fires to put out on home front. Hope you all stay safe & peaceful these last few days before Christmas
