Yes, they had me in tears. I am thankful that the scum from Massachusetts was stopped before he could do God knows what other damage here, but feel terrible that this officer was taken down in the process. It is even sadder in a way, because he was already retired, but worked part-time (only a couple of weekends a month, I believe) because it was so much a part of who he was to help the community. He didn't HAVE to be there at all. He chose to be.
