seven o'clock in the morning
i'm riding the overnight train
i got ten tons of luggage
but i left it behind when i came
i look at my watch
says September seventeen
we're riding past some place
where i've never been
and i'm waving through the window
as we go
somebody says
well hey, what are you waving at?
but what do I have to lose?
- somebody might wave back

seven o'clock in the morning
i'm carrying bag under my eyes
been up all night
counting the hours to sunrise
drawing patterns on a table top
i lift my gaze
my mouth just drops
there's someone waving
in the window at me
and i say HEY THERE
what are you waving at?
when he says
well what do i have to lose?

I took a BC, but had to get up during the night and take another one. I had the heat on last night. I normally never have the central heat on at night, and I couldn't sleep. It was hot and it made my throat so dry, I kept coughing all night. I didn't think it was a good idea to freeze everybody out though.
