Since the official beginning of winter on Dec. 21, the average daytime high temperature in Mountain Home was 55.9 degrees through the end of December, according to the National Weather Service.... So far in January, it's been even toastier. Mountain Home has recorded an average daytime high temperature so far this year of a balmy 58.1 degrees.
