Midianites, Ammonites, Amorites, Amalekites, and Jebusites were all Old Testament triebs iving in 'Canaan' before the Israelite exodus, and for some time after the founding of Israel.
By all contemporary accounts, the above mentioned tribal groups were pretty fairly wicked groups.
