They told me these are peppers stuffed with "gulas," but I am not so sure there is such a word. Although, I did not see any eyes, which was reassuring.

I have had a spoonful of angulas which are baby eel (elvers) that look just like that.

Doesn't look too appetizing. Keep in mind that I get grossed out if some of that soft, cooked blood gets on my hamburger meat. Blech! Some things just don't seem that they're meant to be eaten.
