"I am watching a movie on the Lifetime channel. They always have nice chick flicks." I rarely watch Lifetime. Most of their movies have an agenda, it seems. And I don't like that many chick flicks.

I rarely get to watch TV myself. Have too much other stuff going on. I see what you mean. I guess the movies I watched last night did have an agenda. Time for me to get back to studying engineering again. (I am a nerd after all, LOL!) Hope your day went well yesterday in court and today as well. That vacation was just too short. LOL!!!

12 dead. Damm. It's like waking up to a mini 9/11.
I'm not a morning person.

What's even worse is that they announced late last night on tv that they were found alive. It wasn't until waking up earlier that I found this news report was wrong.
*Need extra coffee today*

Turn on any TV or radio, 12 of the 13 miners are dead. When I went to bed last night, it was with the warm knowledge that a total miracle had happened, 12 survived, and only one died.
The whipsaw of emotions was slightly reminiscent of waking to the news that the world had changed on 9/11

I missed your ping somehow West, sorry.
The sunset is breath taking.
To: catpuppy
Hope you got up early enough to see the sunset....after all the missed kicks we saw. Was that a world record for missed field goals, or what?
So, since their are no red teams or blue teams......who are you betting on tonight?
My only criteria is the loathing of USC's so-called fight song.......and that they mandate no overtime.....

I think that USC is better but I will pull for Texas.
As for the field goals, I have given it more thought and I think that in lieu of marching bands at halftime at least one kicker should be chosen by lot and publicly flogged for impersonating a football player* and for generally messing up what could be good games.
*George Blanda would have been exempt

Just walking/jogging at sunset, nully.

the female octagenariansThere are no female octageniarians on the beach. There is occasionally an octopus. The octopus has a rounded soft body, tentacles and a strong beaklike mouth.
It's easy to understand how you might have confused the two.
