in neighboring Iran, pronouncements by the President of that country have stirred strongly negative reactions in Europe,
I hold no hope that that signifies an awakening in Europe.

The President today gave a rousing speech on
the elections in Iraq. If anyone says there is no exit strategy or no clearly delineated objectives, they are just plain stupid. Stupid beyond comprehension.
The above link goes to a transcript of the speech. Don't forget to dip your index finger in purple ink, food coloring or some type of dye to show unity with the Iraqi people. This has been a wonderful year for freedom. A free Iraq means a safer America.

The joy on this young Iraqis face is worth a thousand words.
Freedom comes wrapped in many different packages.

Good evening. T'is a beautiful evening outside. Temp is 65 degrees, a few clouds and low humidity. There's maybe a slight trade wind.
The Iranian President has also stated the Holocaust is nothing but a myth, and that Israel should be moved as far away as Alaska.
I don't think we have a choice in dealing with the Persians. Iran's president, and probably most of the ruling mullahs are nuts. If Iran has a successful nuke test, then all bets are off. Time to raise the balloon.

Good evening. I trust you are doing well. How's the house hunting going?
Great pic. It reminds me of a commercial...
One Marine battalion fully equipped, $24 million.
One completely reconstructed Iraqi hospital, $52 million.
One purple index finger, priceless.

Did you ever think we would see this day. No, I didn't. Getting rival clans, nomadic tribes, different religions, etc. that hate each other to form a government with a constitution is truly amazing. And the Iraqis did it in less than three years. It took our Founding Fathers much longer.

I'm so glad you liked it. I'm praying for Ev every day. My next tag line might be A free Iraq means a safer America. I'm not ready to retire Santa, though.

:)
Thanks for the prayers. Really. Truly.
I'm playing for this Christmas show every day this week......it's a "Fred Waring" style production.......one of his signature songs was "Battle Hymn Of The Republic"........so we end each show with it. The director always makes a point of saying that we are performing it in honor of our veterans and active duty military........and he asks all veterans and parents/spouses/siblings of active duty military to stand up and be honored.
I am so proud to stand up in my son's honor each time he says this.
Today, though, it "got" to me..........and I left the theater a bit teary. The closer it gets to Christmas, the more I miss him..........sigh..........
