GOOD A.M. HONORABLE CHAIR, ALL, FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA, BRUISED BUT NOT BROKEN.
They found another body yesterday in Pass Christian, haven't identified it yet, this will be going on for a long time, so far about 250 bodies have been found since the storm. The destruction was unbelievable here, whole neighborhoods COMPLETLY wiped off the face of the earth.
El nuto on Fox right now, gotta be a Democrat.
D came up with a good name for my chickens, they eat dried dog food ya know, 'chicken dogs', I swear I heard one growling at me yesterday.
Rain in the forecast today, in the 70's, sorry bout delivering this news to 'youse guys' in all that cold up there.
OUR President W., Mr. sunshine. John Kerry, Mr. rain cloud.
Have you noticed the silence coming from the dims? It can mean only one thing, W is putting it on them with his speeches, even little nancy p, harry karie' and also missing in action are teddy baby, 'shu-ma' where are little are the turncoats, graham, hagle (McCain's water boy), McLimp and the fence riders in our party. You think the might have been seeing the grass greaner on the other side of the fence? Know why the grass is greener? All that manure.
I am happy to report that one of our 'guest' has purchased a house with their insurance money and will be moving the first of the year. No more said on this subject but believe me, I sould have LOTS of comments if I wanted to do it.
You know, I just sat back and read all the post by you good folks last night and what a family we have. True, we will probally never meet each other in our lifetime so, we depend on our screens and fingers to visit. For one, I don't know if I have ever conversed with a friend as I Do with you all and yes, I know I often time repeat myself but chalk that up to old age (I REALLY lean on that excuse, believe me). I gather that we not the 'teeny boppers of old and minds and beliefs can be stated here by us, Most of us are really all alike, most have the same desires, habits, gotta admit, food is different in out taste (known fact the grits are the fountain of youth), and if you are like me, I try to guess what one does in work, what your home looks like, I can see your trees, your street, your neighborhood, your town, One thing I have observed, EVERY home is filled with love, your concerns for each of us are true ones, not just words and thoughts that makes someone feel good. I looks on you good folks as the best neighbors I have ever had and allowing me, and listening to me, put in words my thoughts. My love for each of you travels to you on a invisible cloud never any rain in this cloud, just sunshine.
Yep, got one of those 'mellow' moments today, put up with me will ya?

Your "mellow moments today" have given me more than one smile, Toby!
"Know why the grass is greener? All that manure"
"chicken dogs...I swear I heard one of them growling at me yesterday"
"known fact that grits are the fountain of youth"
And best of all....."My love for each of you travels on an invisible cloud...."
So, let us all give thanks for that "invisible cloud".

What a beautiful sentiment (you have great "mellow" moments)! I feel like FReepers here really are part of my larger family. Toby, you're a treasured member of my family no matter how far away you live!

Toby that is so sweet. Thank you. We think of you a dear, dear friend. Miss you when you miss a day with us. But I feel the same way about our FReeper friends. Miss them when they aren't here and sad when something sad happens in their life.

Hi Toby - you said just how I feel about all the people who post at ATRW. I too have pictures in my mind of what they look like, how they live, etc. I'm even able to know who has posted something before I get to the bottom where there name is just by their style of "speaking". It would really be wonderful to meet them all some day but in the meantime, this thread is the next best thing. It reminds me of reading books versus watching TV. You get to use your imagination.
Take care, Toby - I love your posts and have a visual of you in my mind.
