Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Home is behind, the world ahead
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Good, I guess. I didn't have to worry whether the innocent little hamster would get whacked.

18 more days...Thankfully. I'll need those days to turn that guest room back into living space. It's become the place for boxes and stuff we didn't know where to put!

A hamster is such an unlikely sidekick for a ninja. I really don't understand that...
In the second movie, does he come back with a gerbil? Maybe upgrade to a guinea pig?
To: RosieCotton
Dunno....
Fell asleep during the first one. Haven't seen the second.
Maybe I'll do a Ninja double feature tomorrow.

*sigh*
Tam misplaced his foam ball, which of course means he thinks *I* have it. So he keeps climbing on the desk to try to look in the cubbyholes at the top and pulling out drawers, and all the while getting tangled up in the cord from my headphones over and over.
He's so smart in some ways and so stoopid in others.

Need to get to bed here myself. See ya 'round!

Good Morning, sip. Could be a nice day, supposed to hit mid 60's. Needless to say, Gypsygirl has been walked and she feels a post walk nap is order.
