It's called optimism.
The lack of *anything* to do at work is called boredom, which state I am currently experiencing.
How about, "I pitty da foo who strays from der quest!"
Oh dear...and I thought we'd finally put that mental imagery to bed!
Hi LCS. It's good to see you. I'm praying for you right now. How are you doing?
I watched this too, last night, though I could have put in a disk... I thought it was mildly interesting to see it with commercial breaks... LoTR has entered the real world and it now has ads. :~D
Thinking about you often, and praying that you will be given the strength and hope you need now.
((((((((((LCS)))))))))))
Mmmm! I'm enjoying my low-carb pecan meal pancakes!
1/2 Cup Pecan meal
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp cloves
1/8 tsp ginger
3 tsp bulk Splenda
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
3 eggs
Whip everything together and cook just like pancakes on medium heat in a non-stick pan or well-seasoned greased cast iron skillet
The whole batch is about 3 counted carbs! Mmmm!
The others have said things better than I could, but I am praying for you. We're here when you need us.
I made those with almond meal at one point. Turned out really good. Too bad nut meal is so mind-bogglingly expensive! Whole nuts aren't much better, though they were cheaper at the natural foods place back home than they typically are at the regular grocery.
Wrapping presents here. Good thing my whole family goes by the "At least it's covered" method of wrapping...they ain't necessarily pretty.
I'm still trying to decide whether to give the heavy duty slinky to Jim or to Stephen.
And Halvah is determined to get at and unwrap the presents. Beast.
Yeah, my family has a "slap a little more tape on it" philosophy of wrapping.
It's really, really, really, really, really boring here today.
And hey, this year I'm using wrapping paper, so they can't complain.
I should still get one more small present for either Stephen or Jim, depending on who doesn't get the Slinky. I guess I can use my wander-until-something-looks-interesting method of Christmas shopping at some point.
Maybe I'll just give Stephen the cribbage board. It's still in plastic.
But...then I'd need a bigger box.
Or I could give up my slinky...give one to each of 'em so they can race and such.
But I wannit.
I wish I didn't have to buy a box. We had soooooo many at work. *sigh*
I'd still have to go *out* to get a box.
But I guess I still have time.
Might be able to help you out with the box thing. And yeah, you've got plenty of time.
Which, considering Ben's present isn't even *here* yet and I'm only half done the blanket, is probably a good thing.
Ooh...got a call from the college. I'm being referred for a computer support position. I should at least get an interview, if nothing else.
*only barely refrains from dancing around the house*
Woot! So they kept you in their database? Excellent!
