My experience is nearly 50 years old, but most of those fellows in the pictures have had too much to drink. Being passed out on the ground drunk is not seen as a big thing in Japan for men.

I'd love to just lay down anywhere after work and just SLEEP...

Luckily for me, my father is my boss and I get to sleep on my lunch break.
