Does this say anything about us, in her fans' estimations? Not that I plan to change my sensibilities but I'm curious if there's a push-pull going on, or just an "agree to disagree."
No, I don't think so. Even many of her fans say it's time for her do cut back on the hard-edged stuff. Some say they really want her to do a nice ballad as a change of pace.
