Early in the thread I'm the one that said Gretchen embarrasses me.

I can understand your point of view, because several of her songs have been very hard-edged. Her latest, All Jacked Up, rose quickly on the charts, then fell just as quickly. The lyrics are pretty rough, but I like the classic rock/boogie woogie tune.

The boogiewoogie part is fine. It's all the drinking, "wantin to get me some" talk. 'I can be just as crude and awful as any man.' I'm not a prude, I just think it's gross. It's like she's trying to catch up with womens libbers or something.
