I just wanted to publicly thank you Jim for restoring my account today.
I also made this post to apologize to the following FReepers: Jim Robinson, John Robinson, BobJ, Doug from Upland, Howlin, nopardons, onyx, Golden Eagle, and any others I might have missed that are still here for the assorted personal attacks and badmouthings I made about them while associated with TLBSHOW and sites like ClownPosse/Anti Kooking/Anti Freeping. However DON'T expect me to be making more personal attacks against such former associates. I have returned here as a part of a Gun Rights Crusade I'm currently engaged in and will not be personally attacking ANYBODY but the Anti Gun traitors to our Constitution, (probably in song, despite the personal attacks I made against I have always Doug from Upland as sort of an unnodfficial mentor of mine in this area and I would like to continue my 19th century song updating-parodying once I've gotten re established here and earned Jim's and Doug's trust again.)

Perhaps that was JimRob's plan all along. I didn't particularly care that he came back until I saw the lyrics to those songs attacking JimRob. He sure had a lot of nerve asking to come back.

The Art Bell show last night was a repeat from the past, during the Clinton Admin. It was amazing to recall the state the country was in then. The gun grabbers were on the verge of total victory. They were also doing other Liberal things and it looked like the end of America. It must have been 1992 just before the surprise Republican victory. We should never forget, although it seems we have, how close we were to disaster in the country.

I have taken advice from diotima, who is now a good friend.
She said, if you are one of the ones being attacked -- and nearly all freepers who post a lot eventually are -- then when you stop bothering to read them, they simply disappear and cease to exist in your life.

On a serious tip, if you are sincere, then you will take some (well-deserved) drubbing for a while. Don't respond in kind, be humble, and eventually you will be forgiven and even accepted. Some people may never accept you, but that's life.

Some of the stuff I saw over there was pretty darned funny. Other things went much too far in my opinion... the attacks on Valerie for example.
It's their problem, not mine, and certainly not Valerie's. I washed my mitts of the whole scene when I wrote a 9th Step-oriented letter to them.
They can be very funny when they're not being vicious, but how often is that?
